International project "ART UNITES THE WORLD. HUMAN AND SPACE" within the programme of the 60th anniversary Venice Biennale 2024.

Russian artists took part in the 60th anniversary Venice Biennale 2024. They presented their works alongside foreign artists as part of the unique project "Art Unites the World. Humanity and Space", organised by Oksana Bogo, Marianna Gnezdilova and Alexander Filippov.
The exhibition, dedicated to the role of man in the Universe and the search for ways to preserve peace and civilisation, featured works by 40 outstanding artists from 15 countries, including Mexico, Peru, Iran, Japan, China, Pakistan, South Korea, France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Germany, USA and North Macedonia, in seven rooms of the Palazzo Pisani Revedin.
The main idea of the project "Art Unites the World" is that the highest value in the universe is humanity and its ability to preserve and transmit historical heritage and experiences from generation to generation. The project emphasises the importance of bringing people together through art, which can overcome language barriers and unite people of different nationalities, religions and cultural traditions.

The project "Art Unites the World. Humanity and Space" was supported by a special video installation "The Firsts", created with the participation of Channel One and Konstantin Ernst. Visitors to the exhibition were able to see exclusive footage from the set of Klim Shipenko's film "Challenge" - the first film in history to be shot in space in zero gravity. The exposition was also supplemented by a fijital triptych by Italian artist Enzo Rosamilia, dedicated to cult personalities who contributed to the development of Russian cosmonautics - Yuri Gagarin and Valentina Tereshkova, as well as the first "space" actress Yulia Peresild.

Also in the project "Art Unites the World. Mankind and the Cosmos" was attended by famous Russian artists Ekaterina Bogdanova, Dima Sukhov, TATLINU, Daria Russkikh, Victoria Voltegrova, Vladimir Martynov, Marina Stupnikova, Viktor Yaichnikov, Alyona Sycheva, Max Lyutov, Elena Bolotskikh and Irina Kovalevskaya.

Art-Moscow Art Fair 17-21 April 2024.
From 17 to 21 April, artist Darya Russkikh will present her stand at the Art Moscow fair of contemporary, classical and jewellery art. She will show her new project, which is dedicated to the theme of the search for happiness and its meaning.
Darya Russkikh's artistic research has become a response to the main idea of the fair. This year it is called "Co-Being" and invites to reflect on the interaction and coexistence of different contexts, values, art forms in our big world, as well as on culture as a whole as an important space for dialogue between these entities.
Daria Russkikh talks about all kinds of relationships between people and happiness, about our perception of this human value. As a multidisciplinary artist, Daria has speculated on this topic through different mediums.
What neural networks think about the search for happiness and how they imagine it - the first series includes prints generated together with artificial intelligence. This is a new direction in the artist's abstract art, which explores different creative approaches, abstract type of thinking and fantastic visual effects that have become a recognisable feature of the visual style of neural networks.
Another series of works continues the exploration of visual effects and the theme of happiness. We see the future and dreams vaguely, as if under a veil or haze. Therefore, in this series, abstractions are hidden from us under a murky glass that blurs the image. The titles of the paintings capture the vague emotions and situations that come over us during our search for happiness - "Inner Flight", "Premonition", "Hope for the Future", "Moving Forward".
Daria Russkikh's more classical abstractions - paintings and sculptures - round off the exhibition. They are inspired by an inner dialogue about what happiness is.

A new public art object "Balance" was opened in the park of arts on 19 October 2023 in Moscow.

On October 19, 2023, a monumental abstract composition "Balance" created by artist Darya Russkikh appeared in the art park "Museon" in Moscow. Now the author's new work can be seen in the permanent exposition of sculptures. It was placed in the open air, near the northern wing of the Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val.

The presentation was held in a non-standard form: instead of a traditional ribbon, a massive iron chain was cut. And the very concept of the event was built around the composition "Balance".

This sculpture represents the balance between natural elements and phenomena. A special role is given to the unity of nature and man, which many people forget about. All elements are made of different natural materials, but converge at one point.

A message to future generations has been placed under the foundation of the sculpture. The descendants will have to remove it after 100 years and find six letters from people of different ages and professions - from a schoolboy, a doctor, a clergyman, a lawyer, a statesman and an artist.

Public art as a direction of contemporary art is a multi-format and at the same time harmonious form that combines 4 spaces: the street, the gallery, the space of the work itself and the boundaries of the viewer's perception. The work "Balance" is an ode to the harmony of natural phenomena. In our time, we often forget the primary and natural dimensions of the environment and its new context seems unfamiliar to us. The Balance public art object preserves the purity of form and the harmony of the image, as nature non-verbally does, correctly determining the aesthetics of textures and colors, allowing you to remove the extra noise of the city bustle. To see the harmony and balance of nature in the nature of a noisy city is to learn to speak in compromises, with the problems that a person encounters when invading the zone of Nature.
