Abstraction is a narrative, a process of abstraction from the specific characteristics of an object of the real world. Abstract art is a direction in which visual reality goes to the background, while colors and forms act as a tool for the conveying ideas. Through her artworks, Daria build a dialog with a viewer, because each piece of her art is an expression of her world. The changeable and free nature of abstract art has formed certain conventions that Daria explores in her works, without exclusion of her own feelings.
With my work, I explore the importance of perceiving oneself as an integral part of a single ecosystem through the relationship of the inner world with the external environment. My works reflect the concept of natural equilibrium and balance, or lack thereof, both in the world around us and within ourselves.
I am captivated by the monumentality and adaptability of nature and the extent to which it is reflected in the fundamental values and psychological flexibility of the human personality.
I seek to juxtapose the ideas of unification, mutual fulfillment, and sustainability against the modern trend toward individualism and isolation. My works are a call for harmonization between urbanism and the natural environment.
